Associate Professor Dr Peta Stapleton

Associate Professor Dr. Peta Stapleton is a registered Clinical and Health Psychologist and is Program Director of the Masters of Clinical Psychology program at Bond University (Queensland). Peta specialises in eating disorders and emotional eating, women’s health and adolescent issues, and she is a world leader and researcher in Emotional Freedom Techniques (often called psychological acupuncture).

In 2014 Peta was awarded the American Harvey Baker Research Award for meticulous research in energy psychology by the Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) and also became a Gold Coast Business Events Ambassador for Gold Coast Tourism. In 2015 Peta received the Global Weight Management Congress Industry Professional Award of Excellence, and was named the Gold Coast Women in Business – Woman for Change Winner for her EFT research in schools.   In 2016 Peta was awarded the most contribution to Energy Psychology by ACEP.  See 


Sally Thibault

Sally Thibault – is a Professional Speaker, Counsellor, Author, Certified EFT Practitioner and Fellow of the Association of Development Professionals in Education.

A fitness instructor for over 15 years, Sally owned two fitness studios, was the host of Aerobics Unlimited, Canada’s first Cable TV fitness show and trained over 400 instructors.

Following her son’s diagnosis of  Asperger’s Syndrome in 1997, a change in career was needed and she was offered the position as  Director of Community Relations at Saint Stephen’s College, a position she held for 10 years.  During that time she served as Queensland Vice-President of ADAPE, now called Educate Plus, for 5 years.  In 2010 she wrote the story of her family’s journey and David’s Gift became an Amazon best-seller. The success of the book lead her facilitating Teacher in-service workshops, presenting Keynote speaking engagements and a Guest Lecturer position at USQ Toowoomba, on the impact of autism spectrum on families.

Now as an EFT practitioner Sally facilitates seminars for and mentors Business women to create more energy, confidence and success in their lives. After raising three children, her knowledge of the school environment and her passion for this remarkable modality has led to co-creating Tapping in the Classroom with Dr Stapleton.  Sally believes that Tapping can quite simply free an entire generation of children from the long term impact of stress, anxiety and the emotional pain of bullying.

She is releasing her 3rd book Tapping to Reclaim You – 30 Days to create more Energy, Confidence and Success in February 2106. Sally has been featured on National TV – Channel 9’s Today Show, Network 10’s The Circle; on Radio Stations ABC Gold Coast, Launceston and Central Coast, Radio Stations 96.7 and 91.7 Sunshine Coast and various newspapers. She is currently the Health and Wellness Expert on Brisbane’s 96.5FM and Queensland Cancer Council’s Live Well Be Well Radio Show.
